Orchard Cottages at Gorton House

We offer self-catering accommodation within the old orchard of our family home, Gorton House. Plum, Apple, and Cherry Cottage each feature a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, shower room, and an open-plan kitchen / living area. Each cottage has its own private garden, dedicated parking, and access to our tennis court.

We pride ourselves on providing welcoming, family- and dog-friendly accommodation with easy access to nature, local walks, and beautiful countryside views right on the doorstep.
Located just outside the village of Rosewell on the Roslin Glen road, the cottages enjoy a peaceful rural setting within easy reach of Edinburgh and the many attractions of Midlothian. Whether it’s exploring Roslin Glen, visiting the iconic Rosslyn Chapel, taking advantage of several highly regarded golf courses or just unwinding with your family, the Orchard Cottages are an ideal base for your holiday.
