The Glencorse Centre – Making lasting Connections in our community

We’re a small, charity-run community centre in Auchendinny. Our overarching aim is to help to build, encourage and sustain lasting connections within our community and beyond. We’re here for everyone, no matter what you do, how old you are, where you’re from, or who you love, there’s something for you at the Glencorse Centre.

We have a lovely community hall where lots of small local businesses run classes including yoga, baby massage, fitness classes, dances classes for all ages, art classes, mental health and wellbeing groups, local craft groups and more. Need venue hire ? = our lovely hall can be hired for events and celebrations

Events, Fetes and fun days out- something for everyone – craft, food and drink, kids entertainment – lots going on including new Farmers Markets every second week of the month from April to September (see website & socials for up to date timings)

A local walk

The old railway line makes a lovely walk from the Centre, you can go from Auchendinny to Penicuik, ( around 8 miles / 12.2 km) or all the way to Edinburgh Here is some route information for planning HERE
