The Craigie Hotel is a stunning Edwardian house, just 7 miles South of Edinburgh, at the foot of the picturesque Pentland Hills.
The newly refurbished property boasts 16 elegant bedrooms, restaurant and bar, and superb event facilities for up to 150 people. All situated within lovely, leafy grounds.
It was once the home of a Professor of Natural History from Edinburgh University, famous for his pioneering genetic work with zebras, which once roamed free in the gardens.
The bedrooms incorporate a stylish blend of traditional and modern, featuring our bespoke Craigie tartan.
Our menus feature fresh, Scottish produce and the bar is well stocked with local craft beers, Scottish malt whiskies and artisan gins.
The Craigie is a tranquil base for visiting Edinburgh, exploring local highlights such as the world renowned Rosslyn Chapel, or a comfortable stop over on one of the main routes to the Borders and the North of England.
